These Terms of Service (“Terms”) apply to your use of Streetlight Brief, a service of Streetlight Brief (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By using Streetlight Brief, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our service.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using any part of Streetlight Brief, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time, with material changes communicated via email or a notice on our website.

2. Reports and Service Scope

Streetlight Brief describes two weekly community reports for church leaders: the free National Report and the Local Report. Reports synthesize qualified evidence into clear explanations, material limitations, questions worth investigating, and ministry-focused context. Historical Local Report examples and educational resources are available on the current site. Recurring delivery is not available yet.

We strive for accuracy but cannot guarantee that all information is error-free. Report content is informational and should not be the sole basis for major decisions. Streetlight Brief is not a substitute for professional advice or local due diligence.

3. User Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete registration information
  • Keep your password secure and not share it with others
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
  • Use the service only for lawful purposes consistent with its intended use

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

4. Payment & Billing

Public enrollment and paid checkout are not open. No paid subscription is currently offered through this website.

If paid subscriptions become available for the Local Report, pricing and billing terms will be presented here before any purchase. Charges will be processed in USD through our payment processor. Cancellation and refund policies will be described here before checkout opens. The National Report will be free.

This section will be updated with specific pricing and billing terms before any paid subscription is offered. Future paid terms and pricing must be presented before purchase.

5. Intellectual Property

All content, reports, data visualizations, ministry-focused context, and explanatory materials provided by Streetlight Brief are the property of Streetlight Brief and are protected by copyright and intellectual property laws.

You may share individual reports with your leadership team for internal church use. You may not reproduce, distribute, or commercially exploit Streetlight Brief content without our written permission. The underlying public data (Census, CDC, etc.) remains in the public domain.

6. Limitation of Liability

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, engage in abusive behavior, or are inactive for an extended period. We will provide reasonable notice where possible.

8. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Tennessee, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of Streetlight Brief shall be resolved in the courts of Williamson County, Tennessee.
