What is Streetlight Brief?
Streetlight Brief is a weekly, evidence-bound community report for church leaders. It is designed to explain what changed, who may be affected, what remains uncertain, and what a church could consider next.
What reports will be available?
The National Report is a free Tuesday email about a small number of consequential national developments and questions to investigate locally. The Local Report is a Monday report anchored in a reader’s home ZIP and lived ministry area.
Can I subscribe now?
Not yet. Email delivery, public enrollment, Local Report pricing, and paid checkout are not available. No subscription can be purchased through this website today.
What does “local” mean?
A Local Report begins with a reader’s home ZIP and lived ministry area. Every source keeps its actual geography; county, nearby, regional, or national evidence is not presented as proof about one ZIP code.
What happens during a quiet week?
A quiet report is appropriate only after the expected sources and relevant geographies have been checked. Streetlight Brief does not use old statistics or routine meetings as filler, and it does not claim that nothing happened outside the reviewed public record.
Can readers inspect the sources?
Yes. Developed claims retain source links, dates, actual geography, supported claims, and material limitations. The historical Local Report examples show how that information appears.
Does artificial intelligence decide what churches should do?
No. Artificial intelligence may assist with evidence processing and drafting under source and rule-based safeguards. It does not provide spiritual direction or create Scripture, sermon, or prayer content.
Is every report reviewed by a person?
The National Report is intended to receive founder review before delivery. Local Reports will not be described as human-reviewed unless that process is in place and documented.
How can I report a questionable claim or request a correction?
Use the corrections page or email support@streetlightbrief.com with the report date, claim, source, and reason for concern. The claim will be checked against the underlying evidence.
What information does the website collect?
The privacy page explains the information processed when someone sends a message, requests a correction, or visits the site. Report delivery and paid subscriptions are not active.
